The William J. Mueller Gazebo

Located behind the Victorian Cottage, the William J. Mueller Gazebo is a lovely place to enjoy the property. Ideal for weddings, or other special occasions, the Gazebo is also center stage for many outdoor events, including ice cream socials and evening concerts. The gazebo is a one-of-a-kind community space in the heart of downtown Lombard.

Built and dedicated in 2014, the William J. Mueller Gazebo initiative began shortly after Mr. Mueller passed away on Aug. 18, 2012.

The Victorian-style gazebo project was a partnership between the village, the Lombard Historical Society and the Mueller family. The memorial was funded in part through private donations and the Village of Lombard.

Mueller, a lifelong Lombard resident, served as Village President for nearly 20 years. He was a supporter and Lifetime Member of the Lombard Historical Society.

Bill was a dedicated leader, gentle and full of Lombard pride. - - Eileen Mueller
