Sensory Garden at the Peck Homestead
This is year two for our Sensory Garden at the Peck Homestead
There are three raised accessible garden beds with colorful, aromatic plants you can touch, and there is one raised bed for good old-fashioned “dirt play.” Grab a hoe or a shovel – the garden always needs some hoeing and weeding!
Thank you to our donors: Matthies Landscaping laid down landscaping fabric and a thick bed of mulch underneath the raised beds, and Hacker’s Glenbard Gardens provided the plants.
Our Pioneer Playhouse has been temporarily relocated to the white Potting Shed behind the Victorian Cottage.
It is super cozy and fun in there!
At the end of the Peck art exhibit, on August 31, the Playhouse will be returned to the Peck Homestead.
