Step back in time to the 1870's when you visit the Lombard Historical Museum. Restored to the era when Lombard was incorporated, the home is typical of housing built after the Civil War. A "cottage style" house, it features rooms furnished with Victorian artifacts that exemplify the lifestyle of the emerging middle class during the late nineteenth century.

The house has four period rooms decorated in 1870's decor: front parlor, back parlor, kitchen, and bedroom.
