Junior Historian Sign Up

Children ages 8 - 12 are invited to join Junior Historians - a fun way to inform children about local history and pioneer living. Junior Historians meet on various Sunday afternoons throughout the school year.

Registration fee is $15 per Junior Membership, or $25 for a family membership which includes up to two children free as Juniors.

Sponsored by the Lombard Historical Society and the Lombard Garden Club.

Prairie Days offers a hands-on fishing clinic for beginners and experienced levels, programs on prairie plants, bugs and animals, demonstrations of 19th century domestic arts and children’s games, as well as modern-day crafts and activities, food and music.

Saucy Tales Pub Quiz

Must be 21 or older.
Registration fee is $25 before 9/20, or $30 after 9/20. Registration ends 9/29!

Participants will be formed into groups and given a tour guide and route to follow for the evening. Enjoy free pub grub, but there will be no free alcohol.
The quiz begins on the hour at each location from 6pm to 9pm. On the half-hour, prizes for the quiz will be awarded. Participants then have until the top of the hour to travel to the next location.
Participants will register as individuals but may request to be grouped with other people. (Please indicate on form.)

The Victorian Cottage Museum will be open for tours on Saturday, November 6, for the Lombard Christmas Mart. Visit our gift emporium at the cottage as well as our booth at St. John's Lutheran Church for all your Christmas shopping.
Come walk historic Maple Street and visit all participating  locations.

Visit all 5 marts and  historic sites and earn a chance to win a night at the Yorktown Westin, among other prizes. The marts are along Maple between Main and Elizabeth. Call us at 630/629-1885 for more info.

This annual event brings you an old-fashioned Christmas celebration at the Victorian Cottage. Jingle Bell Jubilee offers family fun around downtown including other events at the First Church, the library, and Lilacia Park.
