21	Sugaring Party Peck Homestead 4-5pm In the days of Babcock's Grove, March meant maple sugaring. Come see how sap from the Peck Homestead's sugar maples becomes syrup. Learn how to tap your own sugar maples, and make pancakes. Children ages 8-12 are eligible to register for this program. $5 for non-members, and free for LHS members. Register at 630/629-1885.
29	Book Release Party and Benefit Praga Restaurant 229 W. St. Charles Rd, Lombard 7 - 9 pm Be the first to own a copy of the new "Lombard's Lilac Time" book. The book features the heritage and history of Lilac Time with 100+ photos of the Lilac Court, Colonel and Mrs. Plum, and the Lilac Parade. Tickets are $45 including a copy of the book, or $30 without the book. Ticket price includes beer, wine, and hors d'oeuvres. Register at 630/629-1885.
