The Victorian Cottage Museum is a wonderful asset to Lombard, but it is not without restrictions. We have limited exhibit space to tell Lombard's story, no space to fit a classroom of children, and the Cottage is not accessible to visitors in wheelchairs.

Our solution to better serve all of Lombard was to Build an addition to the Carriage House that includes an exhibit room, research room, and restroom facilities - all ADA accessible. The 1870 Carriage House behind the Cottage was moved to the property in 1980. It houses our archive and artifact collection, and is used for small meetings and group programs.

Your help is urgently needed to accomplish this building addition goal to better serve our community. With your help, we know we can do it!
